Andrew learned his trade as an operations and assembler programming specialist with British Airways in London, and Saudi Arabian Airlines in Jeddah. Further consultancies with five other airlines (and SNCF French Railways) enabled Andrew to indulge his passion for travel, allowing him to visit over forty countries.
He has worked successfully on three continents as an airline, rail and banking realtime computer systems expert, and spent seven years as a systems troubleshooter for the world's dominant credit and debit card payments platform, headquartered in California's Silicon Valley, south of San Francisco.
Andrew is a keen mountain biker along trails and river paths. Other passions include music of all types, Caterham Sevens, and vintage Lotus sports cars — with a nod to fast Italian (Ducati V-Twin) and British (Triumph Triple) big bore motorcycles — not forgetting Saturday afternoons supporting Fulham Football Club!
Now single, Andrew has temporarily put away his Samsonite and settled down to writing full time.
He is currently working on his second novel and a screenplay, and also writes online about geopolitics and society.
Dancing on the Brink of the World is his first novel.
